  2. Open the app and click 'Get Started'
  3. Click 'Yes' (you are signing up as a service provider)
  4. Important: Click 'OK' and then select 'always allow' for location permissions. This enables customers to find you only when you make yourself available.
  5. Click 'OK' and allow push notifications
  6. Click the 'Sign Up' button and fill out the form
You may have already uploaded a profile image when signing up. To add/change your profile image:
  1. Go to > Menu
  2. Go to > Profile
  3. Click your current image.
  4. Select your new profile image from your phone’s gallery. You may need to allow access on your device.
  5. Click ‘Done’

  2. Login with the email and password you used to sign up
  3. Go to > Profile
  4. Click ‘Edit Profile’
  5. You can now upload your documents on Page 3. NOTE: currently we only support pdf file uploads (you must save your file as a .pdf)
Yes, if your trade does NOT require a license (e.g. cleaners). Note: insurance and ID is required for all trade types. Please also note that customers will be notified if you are unlicensed.
This is to ensure you can be visible to customers when you wish to be found, without having to keep the app open.
No, we are using SLC for location awareness, which is battery friendly.
When your documents have been verified by fix it faster administration, your profile will display the ‘FIF Verified’ badge.
In the app:
  1. Go to > Menu
  2. Go to > Settings
  3. Click ‘Change password’
  4. Enter your old password in the ‘old password’ field
  5. YEnter your new password in the ‘new password’ field
  6. Click ‘Done’

  3. Enter your email address (the one you signed up with)
  4. Click ‘Send me a new password’
  5. Go to your email and click on the link provided
  6. Enter your new password

Yes, but you will NOT be visible to customers at all! To hide yourself from view:
  1. Go to > Menu
  2. Go to > Settings
  3. Turn on the ‘hide my profile’ setting (the slider will turn green)

Yes, you can add 3 trade types to your profile, if you have current and valid certifications in each trade.

  3. Click ‘per hour charges’ and enter your per hour amount
  4. Click 'done'

No. Fix It Faster is a subscription service only.
You handle payment from the customer as normal. Fix It Faster does not get involved in the transaction.
You may also accept payment in Fix It Faster Credits, which are as good as cash.
Yes. For service providers, Fix It Faster Credits are as good as cash. Credits are cashed out through PayPal. You do not need an existing PayPal account to cash out Credits.
  1. Go to the Login page and enter your details to log in
  2. Go to > My Credits
  3. For credits you wish to accept, click ‘Approve’
  4. For credits you do not wish to accept, click ‘Decline’
  5. Click ‘Cash Out’
A Fix It Faster admin will need to approve your cash out. Once it is approved, you will receive an email with a link to claim your cash through PayPal. PayPal will guide you through the simple steps to create an account if you do not already have one.
The service log allows you to keep a record of all incoming Jobs (Jobs where your services have been requested). You can also view any Jobs you have booked (as a customer) in the ‘outgoing’ tab.
This option will be available in a future release.
Yes, you can use the app the same way that a customer would.
Yes, just by being on the app, hundreds of customers will know you are in their vicinity. Fix It Faster allows you to be seen.
Fix It Faster is not responsible for settling disputes between yourself and the customer.
